Georgia Kousoulou has admitted that she struggled to bond with her 16-month-old baby boy Brody when he was born. 

The former TOWIE star 30, welcomed her son with her businessman beau Tommy Mallet, 29, in May last year.

Speaking candidly to Closer, the reality star revealed how she didn't experience the 'overwhelming feeling of love' when she first held the tot.

She told the publication: 'I was looking at this baby like, "is this mine?" and added that she experienced 'feelings of guilt.' 

The reality star who has documented her journey on Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps added that her confidence as a mum has since grown.

'Looking back now, I'm quite proud of myself' she said. 

'It was a very scary time and I didn't know it was normal to have those feelings, so that's why I'm very open in case anyone else is going through it. Now I have the confidence to say I'm a great mum.'

Speaking about her battle with postnatal depression she added: 'When I was pregnant, I didn't think past being pregnant. When I had Brody, I'd never changed a nappy or fed a baby.

'Everything was new to me.
