Ryan Reynolds was spotted filming a scene in the ocean for his new movie Imaginary Friends in Coney Island on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old actor was seen splashing in the water from various angles and again as he walked out of the ocean dripping wet. For his role, he wore in a long black suit coat, button-up shirt, pants, and black leather dress shoes.
The Free Guy actor seemed in good spirits, smiling ear-to-ear as he walked toward the camera through the wet sand.

The new film’s plot follows a man who can see and interact with imaginary friends. The character encounters several forgotten friends who have become evil over time and begins working to help them by saving them from themselves.
The project is a sort of tour-de-force for creative John Krasinski, who is writing the film’s screenplay, directing, starring in the movie, and producing it with Reynolds.
Other cast members in the feature include Steve Carell and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Carell recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight and told the media outlet that he was looking forward to reuniting with his former costar from The Office.
'I'm anticipating just joy and fun. I mean, he's the best, and he's a great director,' he said.
According to Variety, Imaginary Friends is set to be released on November 17, 2023.
