Ed Balls awkwardly asked Kate Garraway about her sex life during a debate on Good Morning Britain on Friday.
His comments came as the two hosts debated whether women should ban men from sex if they eat meat in response to Peta's call for a 'sex strike' to 'save the planet'.

Kate appeared surprise at the question and raised her eyebrows, before brushing it off and humorously joking that her partners would have 'preferred to have the steak'.
She quipped: 'I mean, when I look back at my dusty romantic history, I feel like if I'd said to somebody, 'No, unless you stop eating meat', they'd prefer to have the steak.
