Joe is back and more terrifying than ever. 

Actor Penn Badgley gave fans a first look of his scary serial killer persona in a recently released teaser for the show's fourth season.

The 35-year-old actor begins the eerie teaser by saying, 'Hello, You.'

He then steps onscreen in a black cap and what appears to be a workman's uniform, a thick beard sprouting from his face. 

'I'm not the lovable bookstore manager in New York. Or the shop clerk in LA, or the doting husband in the suburbs. No, not anymore,' he says referring to his actions in previous seasons. 

'Allow me to introduce myself,' he says with a slight English accent. The wall behind him reads 'Hello Professor Jonathan Moore,' superimposed onscreen. 

'I've gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond,' he says while sipping from a teacup. 'And living in London has allowed me to bury the past if you will.'
