Pierce Brosnan has revealed Robin Williams improvised his hilarious 'run-by fruiting' line in the beloved 1993 comedy Mrs. Doubtfire.

Reflecting on his time with the actor in an interview with GQ, Brosnan, 69, revealed the remark was not scripted as he recalled filming the scene with the late comedian.

In the scene, Williams throws a lime at Brosnan's head after the actor called his character, Daniel Hillard, 'a loser.'

'Oh sir! I saw it! Some angry member of the kitchen staff, did you not tip them? Oh, the terrorist they ran that way, it was a run-by fruiting! I'll get them sir, don't worry!' Williams told a perplexed Brosnan.
