Moana Hope has revealed her struggles with postpartum depression following the birth of her son Ahi in June.
The AFLW star, 34, recalled how she 'reached out to her psychiatrist' because her birthing experience was 'traumatic'.
'This is the first time I've given birth,' she said on The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show. 'Belle [her wife Isabella] would say I'm experiencing postpartum depression.'

'I've definitely experienced it. And it's why I needed to reach out to my psychiatrist.
'I wanted to make sure that mentally I was getting that support because there was things that I just felt like I wasn't good enough.
'My birth for me was very traumatic. It was really something that I cried for days about.'
