A slew of musical luminaries came together in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening to pay tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, with Queen's Brian May revealing a heartfelt request that was made.
The Los Angeles show - held at the Kia Forum - was actually the second tribute, with the first held in London, where May performed Queen's 1975 hit Love Of My Life.
The 75-year-old guitarist revealed on stage at the event that he wasn't originally planning on playing the song that night, until he got a message from Taylor's widow, Alison Hawkins.
