Lily James exuded glamour on Thursday evening as she led the stars at the BFI Luminous Gala in London's Leicester Square.

The actress, 33, posed up a storm on The Londoner Hotel's red carpet as she donned a gorgeous ruby red gown with a slinky satin material and figure-hugging design.

Featuring a halter-neckline and a chic train, the number accentuated her physique- while boasting an open-panelled back.

Lily's auburn-hued tresses were gathered into a Hollywood-glam style bun, with two strands of hair left to frame her face.

She added a subtle palette of makeup for the appearance, lightly blushing her cheeks while adding a soft pink lip and black winged liner.

Posing over her shoulder on the blue carpet, the Mamma Mia star showed off the gorgeous gown's design - with two thin straps gracing her mid-back, as the rest was bare.

Lily added a pair of platformed black heels to elevate her height in the number, with only a glimpse of the shoes being spotted underneath the dress.

While she kept accesories to a minimal, but did add a spot of glitz with diamanté detailed mini hoop earrings.

And on the carpet, the beauty was reunited with former co-star Laura Carmichael - with the two ladies putting on a joyous display alongside one another while posing.

The actresses starred alongside each other on period drama Downton Abbey, with Lily portraying the character of Lady Rose Aldridge from 2012 to 2014, while Laura played Lady Edith between 2010 and 2015.
