Trinny Woodall has candidly discussed her stint in rehab and revealed she suffered panic attacks because she 'didn't know who she was' when sober.

The Trinny London owner, now 58, was 26 when she went to rehab to deal with her alcohol and substance abuse - but the after effects weren't all positive

Speaking to Amanda Wakeley on her Style DNA podcast the star, who has now been sober for 32 years, admitted she entered treatment after doing 'too much of everything'.

Trinny previously admitted she began drinking and taking drugs at 16 after moving from boarding school to a day school in London.

She said she was a shy teenager who was insecure about her looks as she suffered from 'chronic acne'. 

Telling the podcast: 'I then went to rehab when I was 26, because I'd just done too much of everything. And when you go to rehab, what happens is, you kind of start over'. 

'So all the kind of things that you have that give you the layers of the onion, they're peeled back'.

She continued: 'And I remember I came back to London, I was 26, and I remember I went down the King's Road and I had a panic attack. I just so didn't know who I was. Because everything had been taken away'. 

The podcast uncovers different celebrities own Style DNA and Trinny, who now runs a multi-million pound make-up empire, admitted that her confidence was in fact 'imposter syndrome'.
