The Western Sydney mates have been nicknamed 'dodgy dealers' and raised suspicions amongst other contestants, with Sarah-Jane even calling for an audit. It all came to a head on Tuesday night when the pair confronted foreman Dan over the label after he accused them of 'hiding' mistakes in their laundry on Saturday. Omar and Oz (both pictured) have had a rough ride on The Block this season with their integrity called into question after they scored a baby grand piano for $7500. The Western Sydney mates have been nicknamed 'dodgy dealers' Omar and Oz sat the tradesman down to have a frank discussion about the 'hurtful' things he and foreman Keith have said throughout the show. 'It's just the things you've been saying that have come across as pretty hurtful to Oz and I. You pretty much saying, "You're covering a problem with a problem,"' Omar said. Dan copped to accusing them of covering up mistakes and apologised, saying he 'shouldn't have articulated it in that way'. It all came to a head on Tuesday night when the pair confronted foreman Dan (pictured) over the label after he accused them of 'hiding' mistakes in their laundry 'There were problems in there that I thought we couldn't solve that night. That's the way I probably should have said it. So I apologise for that,' he said. However, it wasn't the crux of the issue as Omar went on to say: 'The word "dodgy" is coming out a fair bit which is completely against what Oz and I do.' Oz chimed in: 'That's the last thing we want is for people to see us and think we are dodgy.' Omar and Oz sat the tradesman down to have a frank discussion about the 'hurtful' things he and foreman Keith have said throughout the show Foreman Dan went straight on the defense, saying he did not say that word on Saturday night and the other houses had received the same criticism. Later, to the cameras, Omar explained the nuance involved with using the word 'dodgy' to describe a person of colour compared to someone who is white, saying it 'triggers' a different perception within viewers watching from home. He said: 'It's very easy to go to House Two where Matty from Elevate is building and you say he's dodgy and it probably won't trigger anyone watching it from home, but if you say it to a Lebo or an Afghan or someone of complete different colour and culture, it's very different.' Dan copped to accusing them of covering up mistakes and apologised, saying he 'shouldn't have articulated it in that way'. However, it wasn't the crux of the issue as Omar went on to say: 'The word "dodgy" is coming out a fair bit which is completely against what Oz and I do' The pair expressed to Dan their concern they were being made to look like 'two w*gs' who have gone on The Block 'to do dodgy s**t on TV'. They said it's a 'hurtful' experience because they wanted to change Australians' perception of their community after they suffered severe racism growing up. Dan said it wasn't the image he was trying to portray of them and insisted it's 'not who I am as a person'.
