At the age of 67, pop star Annie Lennox has a dramatic announcement.

‘Got my first tattoo,’ declares the former Eurythmics singer, who shares a photograph of two birds and a red love heart inked ‘behind her hip’.

Lennox, whose solo hits include Little Bird and Walking On Broken Glass, went under the needle courtesy of Asa Crow at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood.

Asked why she had it done, the mother of two daughters explains: ‘Time to be a renegade.’

Sadie’s yoga clothes firm collapses with £200,000 debt

Nobody lived in the fast lane quite like Sadie Frost, who, as queen of the Primrose Hill set in the 1990s, hosted magnificently uninhibited parties at the £6 million north London townhouse she shared with her second husband, Jude Law.

But that carefree era — spiced up, according to one enthusiastic participant, designer Pearl Lowe, by couples swapping partners when the mood took them — is now little more than a distant dream for Frost. It stems from the failure of her fashion company, Frost Active, set up in 2019, whose products included ‘luxury yoga clothing’ which came with its own crystals and inspirational messages and even a ‘calming’ colour scheme inspired by the seven chakras.

Despite going on sale at Selfridges and generating excitable comment among her fans, the firm went into liquidation three months ago. Now, I can reveal just how bleak the position is: Frost Active has total assets of just £8,400, yet owes creditors £218,000.

I’m told the joint liquidators consider it too early to comment on how much — if anything — they hope to recover for creditors. But Sadie, 57 — who has one son by her first marriage to Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp and three children with Jude — will be painfully aware that one of those creditors is NatWest, to which the company owes more than £50,000 resulting from an as yet unrepaid loan.

After splitting from her
