Brittany Hockley had to edit out sections from her new book in which she referred to tennis player Jordan Thompson as the 'love of her life' following their break-up.
The podcast host, 35, said she was 'desperately in love' with the sportsman, 27, and was heartbroken when she had to revise the chapters about their relationship.
The couple dated throughout 2021 but amicably called it quits earlier this year.

Brittany, a former Bachelor contestant, has co-written a book with fellow reality star Laura Byrne called We Love Love: An Unfiltered A to Z of Modern Romance.
She told Yahoo! Lifestyle she started writing her chapters thinking she had 'met the love of [my] life and was going to get married and live happily ever after'.
'That was evident in the pages and the way that I was writing. It was always a lot of, "I understand why everything happened to me in the past, because I found this person and this is why," and then you fast-forward a year to 18 months, and I was going through the break-up as I was writing and I had to go back - because you send chapters off as you go - I had to go back and revisit what I had written,' she said.
She explained she had 'forgotten' most of what she had submitted to the publisher and it was 'really tough to go back and read that'.
Brittany tried 'really hard' to get over the break-up, but found herself struggling to move on when she was forced to revisit the chapters about Jordan.
