Olivia Newton-John's state funeral is set to take place in early December in Melbourne.
Speaking on The Morning Show on Tuesday, entertainment reporter and family friend Peter Ford revealed the the service will be held at one of Olivia's favourite places - the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform during the 'time of reflection' as fans of the musical icon come together to mourn her loss.

'People might say, "Why there?" Well, that was one of Olivia's favourite places. She used to go there with her mum,' Peter told hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur.
'In fact, there is a park bench in the gardens there dedicated to her mum. And she used to live in Jolimont not far and they used to go there all the time.'
He went on to say the gathering would not be 'a big all-star extravaganza like we saw with Shane Warne earlier in the year'.
