Lupita Nyong'o has revealed what it was like on the the first day working on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever following the passing co-star Chadwick Boseman, who died two years ago.
'It was hollow. It was very evident that he was missing and we were all feeling it, but also we had each other, so we were able to lean into each other, it was actually the only way to go forward I imagine was to lean into it and be there for each other,' the actress, 39, said on Good Morning America.
'It was good to be making this with a bunch of people who knew him, who had experienced his light and his love and so we could commiserate and really lean on each other,' she added.

Lupita explained that all the characters in the movie were dealing with loss.
Playing the role of a grieving character helped Lupita heal the loss she was feeling personally.
'Nakia is a little bit more advanced in the stages of grief than I was, so it was therapeutic to work on this role to get through my grief,' Lupita said.
The star was seen earlier on Tuesday as she exited the Kelly and Ryan morning show in a purple dress with circular sheer fabric sections and pump shoes.
The Kenyan-Mexican Academy Award winner has been on a whirlwind press tour as her new film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to release on November 11 and is expected to be one of the year's biggest draws.

Describing her new movie in three words, she said on GMA it was 'moving, daring and life-affirming.'
Lupita also joined her co-stars for an appearance at the Sirius XM studios, where they talked more about their late co-star.
