Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim's son Woody Cook has insisted his famous parents are 'normal people', as he discussed life growing up.
While his DJ father once admitted to being a 'drugged-up lunatic' during his 1990s heyday, his offspring, 21, remembers the mellowed Grammy-winner putting on a pair of slippers and getting stuck into a jigsaw puzzle following his sold-out gigs.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Woody said: 'It sounds like there was more alienation than there actually was was. I've always been a normal person, hang out with normal people, and my parents are two normal people.

'I think a lot of people have this idea of this different life that you live... I mean, it's like, you know, for me growing up, the only thing I knew was different was my parents would be out working a lot.
'And that's the only thing I could put the put the notion on. I was like... well, I am like everyone else and I always have been.'
Woody - who appeared on the Channel 4 reality show, The Circle, in 2019 - added that viewers realised he was 'just your average person' after seeing him on screen.
