Britney Spears' Instagram page vanished on Saturday - one week after she posted a rant on the platform claiming 'it felt like' her father Jamie 'was trying to kill me' during his controversial conservatorship of her.
That same day Page Six ran an interview with Britney's former assistant Felicia Culotta, who worked for her in the early days of her stardom.
Felicia revealed that she has not heard from Britney 'in quite a while,' and although she writes letters to the pop star 'all the time' she has no idea if she receives them.

While attending the Thursday night opening of a Broadway musical called & Juliet, Felicia was asked about Britney and said: 'I haven’t spoken to her in quite a while.'
Felicia, who left Britney's employ in 2007 just before the singer's infamous breakdown, shared: 'I write all the time. I love handwritten letters.'
She added: 'I just hope and pray she gets them. I know for sure before she wasn’t [in the past], so I’m very hopeful that she gets them [now].'
Felicia appeared in last year's New York Times documentary Framing Britney Spears and spoke warmly about her former employer.

Britney however fired up her Instagram earlier this month and slammed the recent spate of 'humiliating' documentaries about her - taking particular aim at Felicia.
She brought up 'when my old assistant talked about how I went through the neighborhood passing out 100 dollar bills when my first song came out !!!'
The Work B**** hitmaker went on: 'I wish I could go inside the heads of people like my dad and her and really try to understand why people lie and make up such things like that!!! I mean it doesn’t get lower than that … why did you say that ???'
She insisted: 'That’s not even true !!! Wasn’t it already bad enough what they did to me and on top of it everybody is getting together and doing the trashiest docs I’ve ever seen in my life saying it’s TO HELP ME???'

Ever since she was released from her conservatorship last year, Britney has been launching repeated public tirades at her family on social media about the way she feels they mistreated her while she was under Jamie's control.
The Toxic singer has been particularly scathing about her mother Lynne, whom she accuses of having been the 'mastermind' of the conservatorship.
Felicia described Lynne as 'one of my very favorite friends for 25-plus years' back when Britney was still waging a legal battle to regain control of her financial affairs.
In an interview with Us Weekly last February, Felicia said she and Lynne 'talk at least two times a week about tons of different subjects - just like friends do!'

Last weekend marked the one-year anniversary of the end of Britney's 13-year conservatorship, and she took to Instagram to rant about her estranged father Jamie, whom she's currently suing for conservator abuse.
'I mean it felt like my dad was trying to kill me,' the 40-year-old Grammy winner - who boasts 157.2M social media followers - wrote on Sunday.
'I've spoken about it several times, have proof, and witnesses of what he did.'
