Lesley Manville revealed ageing naturally is important to her because she 'needs her forehead to move' while playing older characters.
The actress, 66, who plays Princess Margaret in the Crown, explained how her 'job is to play the faces that were untouched by needles and surgery'.
Speaking at the Bazaar At Work Summit 2022 at the Kimpton Fitzroy London hotel in Bloomsbury, Lesley wore a glamorous brown midi dress with a V-neckline as she discussed the ageing process with regards to her job.

She said: ‘We don’t want to get older because we want to keep having our life and we don’t want to feel older. But my job is to play, for example, Ada Harrison and Princess Margaret.
'They have faces that were untouched by needles and surgery, and how can I be one of those women if I’m looking like something else? I need my forehead to move.
‘Who I am when I’m not acting is very important to me. This face is a result of all my years of being here, and I don’t want to change them.’
