Kelsey Parker's new boyfriend served four year in prison after being jailed for manslaughter in February 2013 for his involvement in a fatal brawl outside an Essex pub. 

Sean Boggans, 39, is understood to be dating 32-year old Parker some eight months after the tragic death of her husband Tom - a singer with British boy band The Wanted - following a long battle with brain cancer. 

But the electrician spent time behind bars after fatally punching someone during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, reports The Sun. 

Boggans was waiting for his then girlfriend to collect him when an argument broke out  with 44-year-old Shaun McDermott, who was knocked to the ground during the skirmish. 

CCTV footage later captured Boggans walking away from the scene. 

According to The Sun, Shaun was discovered by police laying on the pavement with a brain haemorrhage outside the Havering Oak

A postmortem found that he died as a result of head injuries, according to claims, and Sean was soon handed four years by a judge at the Old Bailey.

Kelsey's representative has been contacted for comment by MailOnline. 

Mother-of-two Kelsey, 32, has been mourning her husband, The Wanted star Tom, since losing him to cancer eight months ago and admitted recently that life on her own was 'tough'. 

It comes after MailOnline revealed the actress has sought solace with a new man as she comes to terms with life without Tom.

Friends are pleased that actress Kelsey is looking forward and is in the early stages of a relationship with electrician Sean after meeting him recently.

'It's very early days and no-one knows what the future will bring, but for now, Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life,' said a source.

Kelsey and Sean, a father-of-two, are believed to have met when she took a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes, in September.

More recently Kelsey attended the wedding of a member of Sean's family in Kent and the couple were clearly affectionate with one another.

Sean recently split from the mother of his children, but there was no crossover with Kelsey.

MailOnline understands he has a positive relationship with his former partner and has regular access to their kids.

In a recent interview on TV's Loose Women, Kelsey spoke movingly of the void left in her life by the loss of Tom, once her daughter Aurelia Rose, three and son Bodhi, two, were asleep.

'Evenings are so tough,' she said. 'Because the kids go to bed and then it's just me and that's the time you speak to your partner, you gossip and you talk and I don't have that any more.'

Kelsey posts frequently on social media about Tom, and makes a conscious effort to keep his memory alive in the minds of her young children, with a special Father's Day post on Instagram in June, though she did admit: 'Father's Day will be hard.'

Earlier this month, she took part in a gruelling five-day trek across the Sahara Desert to raise funds for a breast cancer awareness charity.

The group set off on the extreme challenge on November 12 and trekked for more than 10 hours each day through Morocco's unforgiving landscape in a bid to reach 100km.

Kelsey was joined by Vicky Pattison, Giovanna Fletcher and Pete Wicks as they aimed to trek 100km across the Sahara Desert over five days in aid of CoppaFeel!.

Speaking of the gruelling CoppaTrek! adventure, Kelsey candidly said she needed to 'focus her mind' after a challenging year.

'I have never done anything like this before, but it is just the challenge I need to focus my mind after a very difficult year', she said in a statement.
