Valerie Bertinelli happily announced this week that her divorce from Tom Vitale had been finalized, six months after she filed for separation.
And now documents obtained by PEOPLE reveal that the divorce was settled and a proposed judgement was filed Tuesday. Both Bertinelli and Vitale, as well as their respective lawyers, signed off on the 12-page document.
But as part of the pair's settlement, the 62-year-old actress will be forced to pay Vitale $2.2 million 'in full, final, and complete settlement and satisfaction of any and all claims between them.'

The pair entered their union in 2011 with a prenuptial agreement in place, which Vitale attempted to challenge the validity in June.
At the time, he also requested spousal support and hoped to block Bertinelli from requesting support from him.
But it was noted Wednesday that the neither Bertinelli nor Vitale will receive spousal support.
TMZ adds that Vitale must vacate the Malibu home he and the star once shared by the end of the year.
If he does not, Vitale must pay rent starting January 1, 2023, with the agreed upon amount being '$50K/month and/or $1,666/day.'
But if Bertinelli does not pay him the $2.2 million on time, Vitale will be able to remain in the home for each day she is late.
Bertinelli was beyond thrilled to share with her Twitter followers that she is now 'officially f**king divorced' on Tuesday.
In a jovial video shared to her account Tuesday, an elated Bertinelli revealed that she had just received a phone call from her lawyer informing her of the news.
