Ally Langdon was hilariously ribbed by her Today show colleagues on Friday after she was snubbed by Tracy Grimshaw this week.

Brooke Boney, Karl Stefanovic and Alex Cullen made fun of the moment that Tracy ignored Ally's attempt at a hug by mimicking the incident in an exaggeration fashion. 

'Everyone give Ally a hug!' Karl said, before he, Brooke, and Alex all purposely turned their backs to the blonde. 

Brooke then burst out laughing as Ally pretended to sob.

Today Extra's David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys also enjoyed a laugh as they watched it all go down from their desk. 

'Big hugs for Ally!' said Sylvia as she hugged the air in front of her.

An awkward interaction between Grimshaw and her rumoured A Current Affair replacement Ally went viral this week.

Grimshaw wrapped up her 17-year run as host on the show on Thursday night and and was sent off with applause, hugs and well wishes from her Channel Nine colleagues as she walked out of the ACA studio for the very last time.

Footage of her farewell shows Grimshaw walking through a guard of honour and when Langdon goes in to hug her, she appears to reject the embrace. 

After hugging several staff members, including Karl Stefanovic and Peter Overton, Grimshaw walked by Langdon who had her arms outstretched for an embrace.

But Grimshaw brutally brushed her, appearing to shake her head before hugging Stefanovic.

Speaking on the Today show on Friday morning, Langdon addressed the awkward moment, admitting she 'didn't get much sleep' after the incident.

'That's where my heart breaks,' Langdon said while watching the clip.
