Bachelor star Megan Marx has defended claims ADHD is just a new influencer 'trend' and stars are taking medication to treat it merely to lose weight.

The 32-year-old shared a post to Instagram on Tuesday, defending herself for saying she thought ADHD is an 'influencer fad' after being called out by Abbie Chatfield.

'I'm not "coming after" specific people or influencers. I'm not making blanket statements,' she began.

'ADHD is real and some of these viral clips and the influencers that are spreading awareness are building a strong community and helping destigmatize ADHD.'
