Gogglebox: Shirley's blunt response to husband Dave's sex life query trends now

Gogglebox fans were left in fits of laughter after watching Shirley Griffiths' hilarious response to a very awkward question from her husband Dave about his performance in the bedroom during Friday night's episode.

The couple, who live in Caerphilly, Wales, briefly discussed their romantic life as they watched model Cara Delevingne's BBC documentary Planet Sex.

But Shirley was quick to shut down the conversation when Dave put her on the spot when he asked about their sex life: 'You haven't been disappointed, have you?'

As part of Cara's documentary she explored the difference in levels of satisfaction men and women experience in bed.

After she admitted some women fake how much they are enjoying themselves, Dave turned to his wife for some reassurance, confidently asking: 'Well you’ve never been let down, have you?'

But he appeared stunned when Shirley uttered no words before simply bursting out laughing.

Pushing her further for an honest response, Dave said: 'Come on… speak truthfully.'

But as she continued to laugh, she refused to give in, saying: 'Look, let’s watch the programme.'

Fans of the show took to Twitter to react to the moment which left them in fits of giggles.
