Beth Dutton and Summer Higgins repeatedly punched each other in the face during a bloody fight on Sunday's episode of Yellowstone on Paramount Network.

The brutal fight started after Beth [Kelly Reilly] told Summer [Piper Perabo] she wanted to go for a walk outside after Summer looked down on the meat-only options presented for the family dinner.

Once outside, Beth wheeled around and punched Summer in the face as she got into yet another altercation following her recent bar fight with a California woman.

'You smug, spoiled, 40-year-old adolescent,' Summer said. 'You are everything that is wrong with this place.'

'The only thing wrong with this place is you're in it,' Beth shot back.

Beth then punched her in the face again. Summer tried to fight her, but Beth kept repeatedly punching and even head-butted her.

Rip Wheeler [Cole Hauser] worried about what was happening outside, but family patriarch John Dutton [Kevin Costner] said to just let them get it out of their system.

'Nothing gets out of your daughter's system, sir,' Rip said.

Summer kicked and threw Beth before Rip came out and found them struggling with each other on the ground.

'Do you know how stupid you both look?' Rip said. 'You look ridiculous.'

Rip told Beth she wasn't teaching their son good manners. He then told Summer just to not eat the food if she didn't like it.

'Maybe shut the f*** up,' Rip said.

Rip told them they needed to figure out a way to get along and suggested the two of them just punch each other in the face until one of them had enough.

They brutally took turns punching each other until Summer gave up. Beth helped her up.

'This is my f***ing house,' Beth said. 'You will show me and everyone in it respect, do you understand?'

'What respect do I get?' Summer asked.

'You get exactly what you give,' Beth said.

Summer agreed and Beth said they should go inside and eat. She told Summer they didn't need to get cleaned off.

'I don't hide from what I do,' Beth said. 'Let them look.'

Beth and Summer sat down to eat with their faces bloody. John looked at them and said he was going to get the first-aid kit.

'You are all excused,' John said.

John and Rip had a drink together.

'I commend you, Rip. It must take a lot of courage to sleep next to that woman,' John said.

John said nowadays they don't settle differences with fighting.

'Cowards rule the world,' John said. 'To succeed today all you need to know is how to blame and how to complain. I truly believe it is the survival of the unfittest.'

John said he hoped that Beth would have calmed down when she got older.

'You know I've got one child I miss, one child I pity, one I regret,' John said. 'That girl. That child I envy.'
