The widow of Only Fools and Horses legend John Challis has revealed his new headstone on Wednesday following his death from cancer in September 2021

John who died aged 79 became a household name for playing cigar-smoking second hand car dealer Terrance Aubrey 'Boycie' Boyce in the hit BBC comedy. 

And now, in honour to her husband, Carol Challis had his famous saying 'I Am Here' inscribed onto the headstone as a tribute.

The phrase refers to the episode where Boycie, Del Boy, Rodney, Trigger and Uncle Albert held a séance in the Nag’s Head.

When the lady conducting the séance told the group a spirit wished to speak to a person called Aubrey, Boycie popped up, and said 'I Am Here' revealing his unusual middle name to the group.

Alongside the photo, Carol shared to Twitter: 'Good news! Tomorrow John will get his headstone and then I can tell you where he is, if you would like to visit.'
