Brooke Satchwell has revealed how she feels after turning 40.
The former soap star, who just won Best Supporting Actress in a Drama at the AACTAS for her work on The Twelve, said growing older has left her feeling 'empowered'.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph this week, Brooke said that the past 18 months had been very 'interesting' for her life and career.

Now 42, the star said getting into her 40s was 'bloody brilliant'.
'It really is stepping into a chapter of life, feeling supported, empowered, liberated and being able to choose as we all are now,' she explained.
'Being a little more conscious of where we direct our energy and really engaging in things that feed us and are important to us and recognising the value of our own energy rather than giving it away willy nilly.'
