Bethenny Frankel didn't hold back as she branded Jeff Lewis 'bitter and angry' during Wednesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.

The mogul, 52, also came for the show's host Andy Cohen after he called her 'hypocritical' for launching a Real Housewives podcast despite 'trashing' the franchise over the years.

The awkward exchange kicked off when Andy insisted that he and Bethenny 'hash out' their feud on air.

'I thought it was kind of hypocritical of you [launch the podcast] because you have been trashing the Housewives publicly for the last three years, to now go deep on the housewives,' Andy explained.

Bethenny's gripe was that Andy had decided to voice his opinion 'publicly' instead of 'privately.'

'What I said to you privately was, wow, I'm glad to see you are embracing the housewives,' Andy replied, with Bethenny firing back with, 'Which is not the same thing you said publicly' and that they had't spoken about the situation 'until now.'

Andy clarified that his public criticism came as a result of him being 'surprised' and 'shocked' that Bethenny would host a Real Housewives podcast after 'trashing the show for three years.'

'No, I actually haven't been trashing the show,' she replied. 'I said it wasn't for me because I do think it was toxic and I'm entitled to not want to be there but still want to talk about it.

'How could I be on for more than a decade and not have reflections to share?'

She insisted that she is 'not trashing people on the show' like Andy believes.

Bethenny famously appeared on first three seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City as a main cast member. She returned to the show in season seven but eventually made her exit in 2019 following season 11.

Andy called out Bethenny for calling the Real Housewives of New York City Legacy - a new variation of RHONY featuring fan favorite cast members - 'boring' in a TikTok she shared reacting to the news that the series would be split in two.

Bethenny replied: 'It was kind of a boring announcement. You asked two different things at the same time and I didn't understand.'

Briefly pausing the tense back-and-forth, Andy engaged Jeff to ask if he's 'enjoying the spectacle' with the interior designer admitting that he felt 'very uncomfortable.'

'No, I actually haven't been trashing the show,' she replied. 'I said it wasn't for me because I do think it was toxic and I'm entitled to not want to be there but still want to talk about it. 'How could I be on for more than a decade and not have reflections to share?' she said

Bethenny continued to defend her reasoning for starting the podcast and that she felt as though she had a right to recall her experience on the show.

'It is not surprising that I would reflect upon such an experience in my life and it is not a trash-and-grab show,' she explained. 'It is a show where I'm talking about things people might not have known and I defend, ironically Kelly [Bensimon], thinking about what might have been going on in her mind and things people wouldn't know about the trips.'

Bethenny and Kelly frequency butted heads while co-staring on the hit Bravo series. The feud has continued over the years, with both parties blasting one another in interviews.

Jeff subtly shaded Bethenny by stating sarcastically that 'no one has a recap for the housewives.'

He was referring to ex-housewives Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge's podcast Two Ts In a Pod which is centered around recapping episodes for listeners.

Walked away: Unlike Teddi and Tamra, Bethenny reminded Jeff that she 'wasn't let go by Bravo' and shouldn't be seen as 'a disgruntled employee.' Andy confirmed that Bethenny had left the show both times 'on her own accord.

'Right, and that's why you're so bitter,' Bethenny fired back.

'No I'm not bitter at all. I landed in a better place,' Jeff replied, referencing his new show Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis which premiered this year on Amazon Freevee.

'That's what they all say,' Bethenny said while giving Jeff an eye-roll.

'No, I really did. Like I'm happy,' Jeff insisted.

All fired up, Bethenny told Jeff that he 'opened the door' on this conversation by shading her podcast.

She added: 'Don't cover this unless you want to get shot.'

Attempting to cool the situation down, Jeff stated that he has 'no issue' with Bethenny.

'You said why would you do a recap like it has never been done before. Did he shade or not shade?' Bethenny asked the audience with several shouting out that Jeff's remark was shady in nature.

'I said, "How is yours different? Let's promote it,"' Jeff explained, with Bethenny stating that she 'didn't see it that way but I appreciate it.'

'Wow, someone is so defensive,' said Jeff, before taking a sip from a martini glass.

Andy suggested that they 'move on' from the topic, which prompted him to bring up a recent change to Jeff's face.

'I want to congratulate Jeff on recently having his lip fillers dissolved. Spanned 20 years and four,' announced the Bravo exec.

Having recent caught up on the Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City, Andy asked Jeff to share his thoughts on the current season - specifically his opinion on Jen Shah, who pleaded guilty to fraud earlier this year and is awaiting sentencing.

He thinks Jen is 'a really good character' and he's 'going to miss her if she's -- we don't know what her sentencing looks like but I would miss her on the show, plus there's only like three girls on there so I don't know what we're going to do.'

Jeff, pausing the RHOSLC conversation, called Bethenny out for looking angry as he spoke.

'Bethenny, you are mad at me right now,' he said, with Bethenny insisting that she was 'not mad at all.'

Not buying it, Jeff continued: 'You're so angry. We can talk about it later.'
