Neighbours has been saved from the brink of cancellation by Amazon, but the show's beloved star Guy Pearce may not be returning to Ramsay Street.
The 55-year-old actor told the Daily Telegraph on Thursday it was 'hard to say' if he'd ever return to the soap despite his reprisal of Mike Young in Ten's 'farewell episode'.
'I'm very pleased for everybody that it's coming back, but at the same time, it is sort of weird isn't it?' Pearce said.

'When you get ready to finish something and then it's alive again. We've got to figure out what that means for everybody I suppose.'
When the publication asked if it would take another finale to bring him back to Ramsay Street, he said: 'I don't know. It's too hard to say. It's all too hypothetical at the moment.'
