The iconic Reading and Leeds festival is set to return in 2023 with a star-studded line-up.  

The Killers and Foals have been announced as returning headlining acts, while a whole host of big names will also be performing at the long-awaited music extravaganza.  

While a range of well-known chart-toppers such as Sam Fender, Billie Eilish, Lewis Capaldi and Imagine Dragons will make their Reading & Leeds headline debuts.

Those attending the twin festivals next year can also expect performances from Becky Hilly, Central Cee, Slowthai, Bicep and The Snuts. 

R+L boss and Festival Republic MD Melvin Benn said: 'We are delighted to return to Reading's Richfield Avenue and Leeds' Bramham Park in 2023 with another epic six headline artists, and an incredible, genre-defying line-up that features some of the very best in modern music. 

'Once again Reading & Leeds is set to be the ultimate bank holiday festival weekend – we can't wait to be back!'

Several artists were thrilled t be making their debut on the legendary stage, including Capaldi who wrote on Instagram: 'No words to describe how it feels looking at this, so so buzzing'

Fender said of the huge news: 'I first went to Leeds Festival with Dean when we were teenagers. We had a wild time, a rite of passage. Ten years later and we're headlining. I'm so excited, it's going to be fucking intergalactic! See you down the front.'
