Jackass star Johnny Knoxville sued over emotional distress from a PRANK where victim was accused of killing a pony The 51-year-old Jackass star is at the center of a lawsuit over an elaborate prank which may have gone too far  Knoxville - real name Philip John Clapp - is being sued by Khalil Khan for a home prank which he alleges caused him emotional distress according to documents  Khan claims that he was hired via TaskRabbit to do a routine repair job but ended up being accused of killing a pony in a practical joke  The prank victim - who claims the owner of the house was an actor in on the prank - was set to fix an electric dimmer switch.  A lamp went out and a girl - who is alleged to be around 10-years-old and an actor - had accused him of killing her pony as it was on life support   Khan said that Johnny eventually let him in on the gag while expressing that it was good-natured And though he was offered compensation financially for participating, Khan maintained that he did not find the prank amusing
