Bradley Walsh has revealed he has known Robbie Williams since he was eight years old through his entertainer dad Pete Conway.

The TV presenter, 62, was reflecting on his life and career in new Channel 5 documentary Bradley Walsh: The Laugh's On Me, which airs on Sunday at 9pm.

At one point in the film, Bradley explains how he worked with comedian and singer Pete, who was working as an entertainments boss on set at an event - only to meet the young Robbie destined to become one of the UK's most well known singers.

In a clip, Bradley details: 'Pete was the host and compare of the whole camp, he was like the entertainments boss…

'He said "come down to my static"- because back in the day you had static caravans pitched all over the place and you could sit in them until you went on shows.

'And sitting in the corner of his static, watching telly, was his lad at eight years of age.'

Pete Conway continued: 'Rob came down and stayed with me and Bradley walked in one day and I said: "This young man used to pay football for Brentford".'

Pete added that at night time, he and little one Robbie headed into the venue on site to watch Bradley doing cabaret.
