Sam Thompson's fans are desperate for him to propose to his girlfriend Zara McDermott and are convinced it will happen soon, after he shared a sweet video to wish her a happy birthday on Wednesday.

Former Made In Chelsea star Sam, 30, took to Instagram to post a montage of pictures and clips of himself with one-time Love Island star Zara, 26, telling his followers: 'I love this girl more than I ever thought was possible.'

And the reality star's devotees were quick to take to the comments section of his post, with many encouraging him to take his relationship with Zara to the next level, instructing him: 'Put a ring on it!'

Sam captioned his post: 'I love this girl more than I ever thought was possible. I’m never really that serious on here but in all honesty, I can’t imagine life without her.
