Donald Glover will star as a little-known Spider-Man supervillain in an upcoming film from Sony Pictures.
The 39-year-old actor and rapper signed on to play Hypno-Hustler, a criminal who first appeared in 1978, in the as-yet-untitled movie.
Eddie Murphy's son Myles will write the film and Glover will also produce the upcoming feature, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hypno-Hustler's real name in the comics is Antoine Delsoin.
He's the lead singer of a band called The Mercy Killers, and he uses hypnosis technology to subdue and rob his audiences.
