Maisie Smith poked fun at herself as she shared a hilarious snap from a recent performance of Strictly Ballroom: The Musical.

The former EastEnders star, 21, pulled a pained expression as she danced energetically on stage alongside her co-star Kevin Clifton.

The pair play the lead roles in the stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's 1992 film and are currently touring the UK and Ireland.

Soap star Maisie donned a red sleeveless dress with a v-neckline and a frilled detail for the performance. 

The garment featured a sequinned detail and frilled embellishment while Maisie's locks fell loose down her shoulders.

Alongside the post, she wrote: 'If this doesn't make you wnana watch @strictlyballroomtouruk I don't know what will tbh'.

It comes after the star cosied up to boyfriend Max George as they relaxed and napped on the sofa after some festive celebrations with her family in East Sussex on Wednesday.
