Former Coronation Street star Saira Choudry has announced she is engaged to her partner Marcus Jackson - 23 years after first meeting.
The actress, 40, who starred as Naila Badil on the soap between 2013 and 2019, revealed Marcus popped the question during a trip to Edinburgh Castle with friends.
Taking to Instagram, Saira shared the moment Marcus got down on one knee before uploading of snap showing off her stunning diamond ring outside the historic monument.
