Christoph Waltz plays a boss from hell in the teaser trailer for Amazon Prime's upcoming thriller The Consultant, which dropped on Tuesday.

The Austrian-German actor, 66 - who recently slammed the idea of a female James Bond - plays a menacing consultant named Regus Patoff, who frightens and intimidates his employees after he starts working for a game development firm CompWare.

Despite telling the workers that he's there to 'improve the company' Waltz plays a sinister game as he streamlines the firm by appearing to actually kill some of the employees.

'Hello, can I help you?' asks Elaine.

'Your attention please,' he says in a commanding tone, before introducing himself: 'My name is Regus Patoff.'

As he speaks there is a flurry of shots that show his perfectionistic tendencies, from him trimming his nose hair, clipping his nails, combing his perfectly coiffed hair, and admiring himself in the mirror.

'I offer a very simple service,' he continues, as the next scene shows him examining the employees on the ground floor from his office upstairs.
