The Bachelors: Executive producer shares shock twist ahead of premiere trends now

The upcoming season of The Bachelors will feature rose ceremonies that are 'like tribal councils', an executive producer has claimed.

Tim Ali, an executive producer on the show, said the new show will 'encourage conversation' with 34 ladies competing for the love of three Bachelors.

'We've introduced almost a bit of a Tribal Council feel at the Rose Ceremonies,' he told MediaWeek.

'Osher [Günsberg] holds court in a new open forum discussion with all the ladies in the house, giving them a chance to get anything off their chest they feel that they need to.

'It encourages conversation, and it's given us some drama too, which is nice!'

Ali added that it was 'important' to find contestants from different backgrounds.

'We wanted to give the ladies of this season a choice, and I think that's the biggest difference in the series – if you don't connect with one of our bachelors, it doesn't mean that your search for love is over.

'We were really trying to mimic the dating world in real life.'

The show promises to deliver an array of twists as suitors Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli embark on their quest for love.
