Harry Hamlin has enjoyed a five decade career and counting as a successful actor.
But it may not have turned out like that if it wasn't for a pivotal moment in his life - when he took a psychedelic given to him by a stranger.
The actor, 71, explained that he was originally supposed to study architecture but after a road trip to 'one of the most magical places on Earth' and a 'blue pill,' he began studying acting instead, according to People.

He told the outlet that two days before he was set to register for architecture classes at UC Berkeley, he got invited to go on a road trip.
Harry said it took him 'to one of the most magical places on Earth.'
He and his friends traveled to La Honda, California and stayed at a hidden compound that had tree houses.
