M3GAN star Allison Williams dishes on motherhood and engagement to Alexander ... trends now

Allison Williams cut a stylish figure on Thursday morning as she appeared on the Today Show to promote her new film M3GAN and discuss becoming a mother.  

Williams - who announced her engagement to fiancé Alexander Dreymon in December, one year after quietly welcoming a son - talked about her new sci-fi thriller, her new baby boy, and family life. 

In her new film, Williams plays a robotics engineer for a toy company that builds a life-like doll.

Williams, 34, said of her baby boy: 'He is adorable, I am very proud. I get like weird and shy when I talk about it because it's so new, but yeah, I'm obsessed with him it's like all I think about.'

She explained that motherhood has changed everything in her life saying, 'everything is unrecognizable to me now, it's, it's all different. I don't know how people do it any other way.'

The Girls star put her naturally flawless complexion on display with very light makeup as she shimmered in a sleeveless black dress that showed off her toned arms. 

As she arrived on set in the chilly weather, she wore a long black coat with black boots and styled her long brunette locks in waves down over her shoulders with a side part.

Williams also made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Thursday in a black ensemble consisting of a stylish long skirt and matching black crop-top sweater with fancy USD $1177 Mach & Mach heels. 

Talking about the inspiration for her new film, Allison said, 'It came from the brilliant mind of James wan and Akela (Cooper) who wrote the script, and they basically were just iterating on the creepy doll idea and sort of merging what if you took Annabelle and put a little Terminator in there.'
