Charli XCX has thrown a subtle dig at Hailey Baldwin over her 'Nepo Baby' crop top.
The model, 26, who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and graphic designer Kennya Baldwin, proudly rocked a cropped 'Nepo Baby' T-shirt as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday.
But singer Charli, 30, has undermined the statement by labelling it merely an 'attempt'.

She tweeted on Sunday: 'i respect the nepo baby tshirt attempt'.
Hailey's outfit caused much mixed reaction online, with many labelling it tone deaf and arguing Hailey hadn't eclipsed the success of her parents like other nepo babies, so the shirt made less of a statement.
One said: 'The Hailey Bieber nepo baby shirt picture gives nothing because she gives…nothing. She’s not personable enough to give this staged paparazzi shot for a viral moment any personality. She’s doesn’t act or sing. She gets in & out of cars in beige and black YSL & has a skincare line'.

Another agreed, writing: 'if bella, kylie, gigi etc wore a nepo baby shirt it would be fitting because they actually created a brand and are busy and didn’t need to depend on a man for success like idk'.
And a third echoed: 'This Haley girl has got the Baldwin name AND the Bieber name and still no accomplishments to speak of maybe she shouldn’t be flaunting a nepo baby shirt'.
The term nepo babies was coined online and is used to describe celebrity offspring who land easily in the world of showbiz, cushioned by their parents' famous names.
Lily-Rose Depp, Maude Apatow, and a slew of others were among those plastered on the front cover of New York Magazine's The Year of the Nepo Baby cover.
