Beyoncé and Britney Spears reportedly considered collaborating together — but nothing seems to have come of it.
Beyoncé, 41, reached out to Britney, 41, to star with her in an upcoming music video, multiple sources claimed to Page Six.
However, Britney — who referenced Beyoncé in an Instagram post from last week — never ended up collaborating on the music video, the sources added.

So far, it's unclear why the collaboration between the artists didn't work out, and the sources don't seem to have shared that detail.
Now that Spears is free of her conservatorship, she should have the freedom to work on new projects of her own volition.
However, if Beyoncé was working on a music video, it may have been for an already completed song, suggesting that Britney might not have a chance to show off her own vocals.
She confirmed she still had her musical chops in August of last year, when she collaborated with Elton John on the song Hold Me Closer.
