Gold Coast City Council has refused to reveal how much they spent to host the new season of The Bachelors in the city.
According to the Courier Mail, the council struck a deal with Channel 10 to film the tenth season of the show in the city as part of its Screen Attraction Program.
The series was filmed at a $14.5million waterfront mansion on the Gold Coast after production moved from Sydney.

A council spokeswoman told the publication the deal was made to showcase the city and bring 'economic benefits'.
