Jennifer Lopez said eloping with Ben Affleck in Las Vegas was 'the best night of our lives' during a visit on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC.
The 53-year-old actress while wearing a long pink dress that showcased her cleavage shared the backstory of her quickie wedding to Ben, 50, in July 2022.
'We were planning to get married in August in Savannah, the family was going to be there, everyone's going to be there and it was so stressful,' Jennifer said. 'A month before, and I don't know if you guys know this, but 20 years ago we were supposed to get married.'

'I heard that,' quipped host Jimmy, 55.
'And it kind of all fell apart back then and this time, I absolutely had a little PTSD and I was like ''is this happening?'',' Jennifer said. 'We were so happy, but I just felt the wedding was so stressful and one day Ben just said, '''F*** it, let's just go to Vegas and get married tonight.'
Jennifer said it was the same day that they had just had a big wedding planning meeting and she also had a rehearsal that same day for her show.
'He was like ''go to rehearsal when you get back here I'm going to have everything all set up'',' Jennifer said.

She said that three of their kids were at camp but two of them were with them.
'He's like ''they are going to be our witnesses, let's go, we are doing it tonight'' and we did,' Jennifer said. 'It was amazing. It was the best night of our lives.'
Jimmy asked when they got engaged for the second time 20 years later if there had to be another engagement ring.

'Yeah, he had to ask me again,' Jennifer said. 'I didn't have that one anymore.'
Jimmy asked her if she liked the name 'Bennifer.'
'I've learned to embrace it,' Jennifer said. 'Years ago it was kind of like ''Oh, Bennifer.'' Actually it wasn't a bad thing even years ago but I think it became a thing where people made fun of it.'

Jimmy pointed out that they got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas. Jennifer said she later wrote a whole song called 'Midnight Trip To Vegas' about the wedding chapel and included in it the pink Cadillac that's parked out front.

'It was very funny because you have to go and get the license first and the whole thing,' Jennifer said. 'We were standing at, not the DMV, but whatever the county clerk's office and we are just standing there and Ben's standing there and there is this couple in front of us with a baby, a gay couple behind us.
