Mark Wright broke down in tears while appearing live on Thursday's This Morning as he recalled trying to save a man's life in a shocking incident.

The former TOWIE star, 35, told how he tried to perform CPR on a man at a hotel he was staying in while on holiday but sadly it was too late to keep him alive.

Mark explained that he and wife Michelle Keegan arrived in Tenerife for their trip and a woman approached him 'in a tizz' about her husband who had collapsed.

Getting emotional as he recalled the incident Mark, who had recently learnt CPR, said: 'I did what I could - he was there for a while before I got there.'

'He wasn't necessarily alive when I gave him CPR but it allowed the ambulance to put him on a life support machine, some breaths

'He wasn't pronounced dead while he was in my hands.'
