It comes as Davina revealed using heroin felt like 'coming home' as she recalled abusing drugs on Wednesday.

The star discussed her childhood trauma, substance abuse and inspiring recovery story on Rockwater's In Conversation With podcast, while explaining how she was abandoned by her mother at just age three.

Having tried heroin for the first time at 15-years-old, Davina reflected on the sense of false comfort the substance gave her, revealing that using was 'like coming home.'

'When you are on it nothing else matters so you don't care about meeting someone on time or picking up your kids from school, luckily I didn't have any.'

After pushing her loved ones away and losing everything to prioritise her drug use, she said: 'Heroin became my best friend. It's like the biggest, warmest, softest cuddle.'
