Doctor Who's Millie Gibson braves frosty temperatures while filming in Bristol trends now

Millie Gibson wrapped up warm while she was filming scenes for Doctor Who in Bristol on Friday.

The actress, 18, will appear alongside the new Doctor Ncuti Gatwa in the new series when it hits screens in Christmas 2023.

The former Coronation Street star was seen being comforted by members of the crew as she was draped in a large black coat between takes.

Millie, who will play a character named Ruby on the show, battled the frosty temperatures as she filmed on location in the city.

The TV star donned a bright orange turtle neck top along with a dark green jacket and green plaid skirt for the scene.

Letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders, she also wore a pair of black tights and matching boots.

The actress was seen in the back of a black cab for some of the scene before chatting with crew members between takes. 

Doctor Who returns in November 2023 with three special episodes to coincide with the show's 60th anniversary, with David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor.

The Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti, will then take control of the TARDIS, with his first episode airing over the festive period next year.

In October Jodie Whittaker stepped down from her role as The Doctor, replaced by returning star David for the upcoming anniversary episodes.
