Roman Kemp's fans have poked fun at him after he revealed a tattoo of Ronaldo Nazário in a Saturday Twitter post.

The radio host, 29, wrote: 'Starting my footballing legends tattoo collection with @ronaldo!' while sharing the inking of the Brazilian footballer on his leg.

However, his followers were less than impressed with the body art, claiming they would ask for a refund since it 'doesn't look anything like him'.

Some fans commented, 'What’s up with his teeth?' and, 'Are you sure?' as well as, 'I don't think it's a very good likeness, sorry!'

'Is this a joke tattoo?' one more penned, while another said, 'I'd want a refund....doesn't look anything like him.'

'Who’s that? Looks like George Formby,' and, 'Oh dear that's not good,' were also in the comments section.

Appearing on the live show, Capital radio host Roman was promoting his new show Get Britain Singing, which aired on Christmas Eve.

British TV stars including last year's Love Island cast take to the stage to perform festive hits to a judging panel - and Ed Balls, 55, seemed to have a particular interest in the singing skills of former Love Islander Paige, 25.

Opening up the discussion about the new show, Ed introduced Roman to speak about the Emmerdale cast's singalong to Shakin' Stevens Merry Christmas Everyone.
