Speaking on the podcast Obsessed with... Happy Valley, Amit insisted he has no clue how his character Faisal's storyline will end as he filmed multiple endings.

'I still don't know how it all ends up for him because we filmed the final scenes in various different ways,' he explained.
Viewers have seen Faisal murder Joanna Hepworth in a fit of rage after his drug-dealing sideline began to unravel.
A key scene in the latest episode saw a cool, calm and collected Faisal in a confrontation with Joanna's abusive husband just hours after the murder.
Speaking on the podcast Amit added of Faisal's latest scenes: 'I think he's going through that weird transition period.

'When the collision happens and he realises it's Rob, like a switch goes in his head. He thinks, "Okay, I can either be Faisal from before or I can take control of the situation'. It's just a different him."
