Love Island fans share outrage as Zara flirts with Shaq trends now

Love Island fans have shared their outrage after Zara Lackenby-Brown flirted with Shaq Muhammed despite him being coupled up with Tanya Manhenga.

The bombshell, 25, did not shy away from approaching the airport security guard, 24, on the daybeds to reveal that she wants to 'explore' something with him.

But fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their outrage at her actions after she got into an explosive row with Olivia Hawkins for flirting with her partner Tom Clare.

Viewers described her as a 'hypocrite' for asking Olivia to speak to her about Tom while not doing the same thing with Tanya when she flirted with Shaq.

One person penned: 'Zara is such a hypocrite how you want liv to talk to you cause she's in a couple with tom but doesn't give the same grace to tanya??'

Another fumed: 'Zara is doing the same thing that Olivia did to her. She's such a hypocrite.'

While another commented: 'Zara was getting mad at Olivia for talking to Tom but she's basically doing the same w Tanya and Shaq #loveisland.' 

And a fourth said: 'Hmm so Zara has made her move on Shaq…it's definitely starting to look like Zara isn't a girls!! WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU ZARA!!!' 

Some viewers also expressed their surprise about the flirting, while others criticised Shaq for expressing an interest in Zara after opening up about his feelings for Tanya.

One tweeted: 'When the hell did Shaq and Zara become a thing??'

Another wrote, 'Shaq out here tryna embarrass my sis tanya?,' while another added: 'Shaq nearly confessed his love for tanya yesterday but is only getting to know her today, I'm confused.'

After watching Zara and Shaq have a conversation on the daybeds, Tanya admitted that it annoys her as she opened up to Anna-May Robey.

'It really p**ses me off when Zara pulls Shaq,' she said. 'That guy is annoying me so freaking much yeah.'

It came after Zara approached Shaq on the daybeds where she admitted that 'it would be nice to explore' something new with him.

She said: 'I'll be real with you, Tom is obviously ticking pretty much every box for me but it's early still, I haven't even spoken to you properly, it would be nice to explore.'

However, their cosy chat was awkwardly interrupted by Tanya - who is coupled up with Shaq - as she brought the airport security officer a cup of tea.

And despite seemingly in a happy couple with Tanya, Shaq told Zara that he felt the same way and would like to get to know her.

He told her: 'If you are actually interested in someone you owe it yourself to get to know them, you don't know what it could be on the outside. 

'On the outside you would be someone that I would go for so I do want to explore that to see the vibes', to which she says: 'Same with you.'

Shaq and Zara then bonded as they spoke about them both being from London as he remarked: 'You're from London too, you just get it.'

With Zara adding: 'Same with you, we are from the same area, that's the thing, that would just work instantly.'

Keen to be straight with Tanya, he later sat her down and made his intentions clear that he would like to get to know Zara.

Tanya asked: 'Do you speak about me with Zara? Do you feel like when you speak to her about like, there's anything there?

To which he admitted: 'When we do speak, I feel like there is a vibe there and we do get along, I'm gonna speak to her a bit more.'

It came after Sunday night's Love island saw Zara and Olivia get into a fiery fight after a heated game of Never Have I Ever.

Tensions reached a fever pitch during the episode of the reality dating show where Zara, 25, shouts at Olivia, 27, to 'get over herself'.

A 'secret chat' between Olivia and Tom left Zara feeling concerned when Olivia wouldn't reveal the context of their conversation. 

Olivia was paired up with bombshell Tom before Zara entered the villa and caught the attention of the semi-professional footballer.
