Love Island UK: Aaron Waters 'shamed me for weight, acne' claims ex Courtney ... trends now

The ex of one of the Aussie 'bombshells' on Love Island UK has accused him of disrespecting her during their time together on the Australian version of the show.

Courtney Stubbs coupled up with Aaron Waters on season three of Love Island Australia in 2021, an experience she found distressing because of his alleged behaviour.

She made a series of damning claims about Aaron on Instagram, after he debuted alongside Jessie Wynter as late entries to the Winter Love Island series, which is currently being filmed in South Africa and airing concurrently in Britain.

'I have never addressed this before... because every time I think about it, it makes me want to bawl my eyes out,' she began.

'[Aaron] has gone on to love Island UK and first thing he wanted to do was in his promotion was drag me. Now this isn't the first time he's dragged me, so it's something I'm quite used to, honestly. But after a year's time, I thought, "Surely he would just stop talking badly about me?'

Courtney went on to say that Aaron's behavior towards her was 'horrible'.

'He bullied me, belittled me, he skin-shamed me, he body-shamed me. He would constantly tell me to f**k off [and] shut up the whole show, and made it his personal vendetta against me to make sure every single guy felt the same way he felt about me,' she added.

Courtney said she never said anything back to Aaron or called him out on his alleged behaviour because she didn't know how to respond at the time.

She also claimed Aaron would take subtle swipes about her appearance, saying he preferred 'clean girls' and 'girls who took care of their skin' - despite Courtney taking medication for her severe acne.

'I literally had cystic acne on my face, which I obviously already felt so insecure about going on TV with my skin like that,' she said. 'So, to have someone to point that out to you, I'm like, "Oh great. Guys are going to notice this the whole show."'
