While she managed to launch a successful career showing off her enviable assets, the 55-year-old actress, who recently became the subject of a controversial miniseries in 2022, called Pam and Tommy, opened up about being more than just a pretty face.
'Part of my life is always trying to get over that hump, convincing people that I'm capable of anything because of the image of me,' the mother-of-two told WSJ. Magazine. 'And, I know I'm responsible for that.'
As for navigating being hypersexualized for the majority of her life, Anderson acknowledges that she may never be able to escape being ogled but is proud to be a 'Playmate that wrote a book.'

'A lot of my career was based on being in a bathing suit, running around on the beach, lip gloss and eyeliner and big hair,' the bombshell noted.
Still, the Baywatch beauty, who released her memoir Love, Pamela: Her New Memoir, Taking Control of Her Own Narrative for the First Time on Tuesday, insisted: 'I'm a lot more than that.'
Despite people fixating on her looks, Anderson made it clear that she is not scared of getting older as she is 'not chasing youth.'
